ReadyConvert helps litigation support teams by quickly and accurately verifying their product deliverables. It lets the user view full page images, metadata and thumbnails side by side. Navigation is made easy through the document grid while seamlessly keeping all views synced.

Using ReadyConvert, the litigation support professional can convert load files to and from standard industry formats, including EDRM XML. For example, ReadyConvert allows the user to import an Opticon-based load file with a Concordance delimited metadata file. These imported documents can then be exported to a Summation DII load file, allowing the user to specify metadata tokens on export.

ReadyConvert Features

Document Importing & Exporting

• Extracts metadata from Summation DII load files,
• Links load files and metadata files,
• Fully Unicode compatible,
• Reads attachment ranges from Summation DII and IPRO load files,
• Allows users to specify custom delimiters and qualifiers when reading text files,
• Generates load files for a Summation Briefcase export,
• Retrieves file sizes and MD5 hash values for imported images and text files,
• Import single page images while realizing document breaks without a load file,
• Reads folder descriptions from IPRO load files,
• Select multiple folders when importing,
• Determines page counts from Summation load files based on either the image file or from these tokens: ENDDOC, ENDDOC#, PGCOUNT,

Validation Options

• Log viewer provides error severity, type and a detailed description,
• Save error log to a CSV file to be viewed outside of ReadyConvert,
• Errors in log viewer can be grouped by document, severity, type or description,
• Ensures all referenced image and text files exist in the load file,
• Checks image integrity by attempting to decompress image files,
• Verifies pages in load files against the number of frames in the image file,
• Detects text and OCR files,
• Duplicate page detection,
• Validates document ranges and reports gaps in numbering schemes, and
• Matches hash values from EDRM XML load file with hash values from image and text files.

Managing Documents

• Generate CSV reports based on fields visible in the document grid,
• Export criteria applied based on “checked” status of documents,
• Batch update any metadata field’s value with a new value,
• Find & replace on any metadata field,
• Documents filtered out of the grid are ignored and not processed, and
• Edit any metadata field in the document grid or metadata browser.

Document Viewing & Navigating

• Image viewer supports most common image formats, including color,
• Thumbnails are displayed in an asynchronous manner to improve responsiveness,
• Browsing metadata can be done in the document grid or in a separate panel,
• Pages in documents can be shown on the document grid,
• Next and previous page or document functions provided,
• Columns in the document grid can be resized, moved or made hidden,
• Filters can be applied to any metadata field ,
• Documents can be grouped my metadata fields,
• Zoom in/out, fit to width/height, zoom selection and pan are functions supported by the image viewer,
• Sizes of thumbnails can be adjusted to small, medium or large,
• Each panel (except the document grid) may be moved away from the main interface and placed on a second monitor, and
• Panels may be re-organized within the user interface to suit the user’s needs.

Load File Options

• Opticon – include or exclude the document page count,
• Opticon – export on a document or a page level,
• Opticon – specify drive letter on export,
• Summation – set the default directory type (@D @I, @D @V, or @D),
• Summation – automatically determine the @FULLTEXT or manually specified document or page level,
