ReadySuite, a specialized bundle of utilities for handling various document and imaging tasks, has been upgraded to include various new features and maintenance fixes. This release includes a new text and OCR viewer, with support for single and multi-page text files. Similar to the image viewer, the text viewer can be re-arranged allowing you to easily view images, text and metadata all at once.

Other features added to this release are an advanced renumbering system, allowing you to number documents based on an existing coded field. Additionally, we’ve enhanced the endorse process to allow landscape images to be endorsed in portrait mode and included grayscale reduction for smaller image sizes. Finally, load files can be exported with the new “link in place” option, which will retain the absolute path to referenced image, text and native files.

Using ReadySuite, law firms and litigation support providers can handle simple tasks such as converting PDF files to single page tiffs, re-endorsing image sets with new production numbers while maintaining a cross reference file and batch printing with custom folder and cover separator sheets.

To learn about other features provided in ReadySuite, follow our product page. Additionally, you may get started with ReadySuite by downloading our 14-day trial or by contacting our sales staff.

Following the recent upgrade of ReadyConvert, Compiled Services has listened to user feedback and incorporated new functionality into ReadyPrint. Folder level separator sheets may now be printed alongside document cover sheets. In addition, the user may specify printer trays for each separator sheet printed. Just like document cover sheets, folder separator pages are fully customizable using the rich text format.

Because ReadyPrint leverages the same technology as ReadyConvert, litigation support professionals are able to print from common load files, such as Opticon or Summation or from single-page and multi-page image folders. Now, with the new functionality users are able to detect color pages and benefit from the enhanced grid filtering options.

In addition, ReadyPrint allows the user to combine documents by a set number of pages. Using this option, documents are spooled in larger sets to reduce the printer cycle time. Folder and document sheets are properly maintained when using this option.

More information on ReadyPrint can be found on our product page, including screen shots and a comprehensive feature list. To get started with ReadyPrint, you may download our fully functional 14-day trial.

ReadyConvert, a free load file verification and conversion tool, has been upgraded to include new features and bug fixes. With feedback from the litigation support community, we’ve added native file support, color page detection, enhanced filtering and a more polished user interface.

Every day, law firms are using ReadyConvert to verify their document productions. To assist in this process, the new Document Summary report gives users a quick glance at the data they’ve imported. Meanwhile, service providers are using ReadyConvert to meet their production requirements. To improve productivity, users can now save the metadata field list and reuse it when exporting load files.

Other enhancements include:

Verifying native file paths during load file and metadata importing,

Detecting color pages and pixel format for all image types,

Importing native (loose) files with DOCID detection on a filename or folder level,

Verifying image compression now checks each frame of an image file,

Saving page level reports with color indicator, pixel format and hash values,

Support for reading and writing the native tag in EDRM load files,

Excel 2007 like filtering in the document grid with an advanced custom filter builder,

Reading and verifying @EDOC, @DOCLINK and @EATTACH in Summation DII load files,

Ease of access to image viewer functions with a right-click context menu,

Renaming of fields during metadata import.

To download the latest version of ReadyConvert, visit our download page.

Enter the world of easier document image printing. Compiled Services has officially released ReadyPrint, a blowback application able to handle most common image file formats, including TIF and PDF. ReadyPrint is built on top of the technology behind ReadyConvert, allowing litigation support professionals to print from common load files, such as Opticon or Summation or from single-page and multi-page image folders.

Now with the capability to import metadata, ReadyPrint allows the user to design cover sheets and print custom metadata fields along with documents. Cover sheets can be sent to a specified printer tray allowing for easy identification on color paper. In addition, users may print the metadata sheets without the document to be integrated into already blown-back pages.

Designed with batch printing in mind, ReadyPrint can reduce printer idle time by combining print spools across document breaks.

More information on ReadyPrint can be found on our product page, including screen shots and a comprehensive feature list. To get started with ReadyPrint, you may download our fully functional 14-day trial.
